Kim and I went to the zoo on Saturday. This was my first outing with my new lens, the Canon 70-300 IS. So far I'm really happy with it. Most of these shots were taken at 300mm, handheld. They are sharp enough I can zoom in to 100% on most of them and they are still tack sharp. And the zoom range is phenominal! Most of these have been cropped only for composition purposes.
